Is Repeating NEET for a Second Time a Wise Choice?

Cracking NEET can be a daunting task for almost all the students that are faced with it. The annual entrance exam sees around 14 lakh students appearing for it every year, and the number has been increasing through the years. In addition to this, there are only approximately 80 thousand medical seats in India. These landslide odds make one question their ability when giving NEET.

Challenges in the First Attempt:

A fresh-faced second year Pre-University student can view the NEET exam with two different perspectives. The first perspective that some students have is that the exam can be cracked by being complacent and therefore, does not require much effort. This perspective can be harmful in that the student does not respect the exam, and in all truth, this entrance exam requires respect.

The second group of students spend their first year devoted to studying and never on their mental health. They cannot indulge in recreational activities, and this can affect them negatively.

In addition to this, students are plagued by several other activities like long school hours, travelling, projects and others. These activities are a requirement for keeping upgrades in school but may not contribute to their NEET preparation.

Both these groups of students may not procure the success that they hope to achieve in the NEET exam. The fact of the matter is finding a balance between the two perspectives can be a challenge in the first attempt. And this is what makes it challenging to crack the exam the first time.

Learning from Mistakes:

A drop or gap year can bring with it several problems as well. Students this year find it hard to concentrate as they are studying the same portion for the third year straight. In addition to this, the “failure” of the first attempt will also be a significant weight on the minds of the student. This added pressure can significantly impact the student and hinder their chances of procuring the college they desire.

This problem can be solved by following a two-step plan:

The first step requires the student to jot down all the mistakes they might have committed in the first attempt.

The second would be to act on those mistakes and areas that require improvement. This step can be carried out relatively quickly by enrolling in a coaching academy.

An excellent example would be the Ideal Institute of Biology: Best Medical Coaching in India. It has well-planned classes with interactive sessions. Each session is enhanced by the use of technology and can benefit the student drastically. It also employs a staff that celebrates years of experience under their sleeves and have spent their time training almost 15000 students to reach their peaks.

This coaching centre can be considered as one of the best coaching centres in India that specialise in helping students attain their dream of donning that white coat.

Why is solving Mock Tests crucial for NEET 2021 preparation?

With time immortal, we, as students, have always cursed the existence of examinations as a whole.

Often we are brought eye to eye with statements locking the fact “your scores have nothing to do with your future.”

Surely it doesn’t, but what made you score less or simplest than all, what mistakes made you score less could make the whole difference.

Here, we have described five facts that will redefine your ideas to give more mock tests.

Assists you in discovering the best strategy

Suppose you have prepared for NEET 2021 all year long, with all dedication and concentration you had. But, without giving a single test.

What do you expect?

If experts were to answer, you would commit more silly mistakes in the paper. WHY?

Because you never tried to attempt a mock test before appearing for NEET 2021.

If you talk to NEET toppers or observe their interviews online, you would notice the fact they support giving more number of mock tests.

Many even insisted on dedicating a month before the examination and giving mock tests twice or at least once daily.

Interpreting the pre-examination stress

Many students with wholesome revision lack the confidence and drain all their confidence before the exam.

Which eventually results in poor performance and demotivation.

At IIB, students are taught to handle their examination phobia, hence erasing the stress related to the same.

IIB offers NEET online test series, which aims to boost your confidence and understand your strategy better.

While regular tests heighten your confidence, students who appeared for the least number of mock tests experience hardships while competing with meticulous students all over India.

It drives you to practice and prepare more.

It’s not necessary you would score a perfect 720 in every mock test you provide. In fact, the main aim of giving tests is to push you to practice more; as you already know, practice makes a man perfect.

No skill in this world can be possessed without practice. This is how mock tests help you push forward to your goal of securing a perfect 720 in the examination.

Dictates newer ways to solve questions

The perspective to solve a particular question need not be the same every time.

NEET consists of a multiple-choice question pattern, which means the last thing the examiner wants to know is the correct answer.

Solving mock tests open the door to explore newer ways to mold the solution.  Most preferably, you investigate shorter and less time-consuming ways to answer the same question.

This eventually saves your time in examination, thus granting you extra minutes to fill OMR sheets and, most importantly, revise.

Time management

Time management is in fact, the backbone of NEET preparation strategy.

We all are quite aware of the vast syllabus covered in NEET. And every topic served demands wholehearted concentration.

At Ideal Institute of Biology that is considered one of the best coaching institutes in India focuses on attributing knowledge in the simplest form viz, easy to understand. With experts in the field, they allow you to collect knowledge at your pace and keep a note of the time running.

NEET 2021 is approaching at a bullet speed, which confirms that reading on your own without a mentor could subtly hit your time limitations.

Mock tests serve as a great value while preparing for NEET 2021. Try to approach for as many tests as possible and to get more insights to sign up for NEET online test series.

Benefit of nurturing medical dreams at an early age

A survey revealed that 95% of NEET toppers have started with their preparation from as early as class 11th.

And you are still waiting to rejoice your +2 years and start a committed schedule after class 12th.

Obviously, you are still young, and preparation for NEET involves rigorous practice.

Or, you assume that the only way to secure a gorgeous rank is through a premium institute asking for a hefty amount of money?

The answer to these is no.

No, you need not wait for two precious years to pass to attempt your chance at NEET. The majority of students start their preparation as early as class 11th.

And also, you need not move away from the comfort of your house and pay for a hundred thousand to score a perfect 720.

Therefore, we have tried to list 3 ways preparing for NEET early could benefit you in the longer run.

Time to re-approach your methodologies

A well-defined strategy is what makes your preparation more structured. When you re-mold your study patterns and understand it on a deeper level, you get to fix certain misguided information.

The most important strategy to crack NEET is to understand the key concepts behind the three subjects.

Reading NCERT is still not an outdated piece of advice. Starting your preparation at an early age gift, you time to adorn every concept and clear your doubt.

A span of two years is considered enough for NEET preparation.

More time to complete and revise the syllabus

Completion and revision are both faces of the same coin. While completion is necessary at the same time, giving time for revision is also essential.

Try to allot time daily to revise formulas, equations, diagrams, etc.

When you start your preparation early, you get ideas to approach a similar question in a different context.

If under mentorship, you get to hit and try different ways to tackle stress and enjoy your period of NEET preparation.

Allows you to appear for mock tests

Okay. Let’s not talk about this. The more tests you visit the more confidence you gain.

Mock tests are most important while preparing for NEET. When you start to prepare from an early time, chances are you would dedicate enough time to give mock tests and analyze the mistakes you commit.

Students who are serious about NEET preparation start joining regular coaching from class 11th.

This brushes their concepts and terms are easier to understand.

Conclusion

The most suggested way to prepare for NEET is to start your preparation from an early time. This would allow you to grasp concepts more easily without the stress of completing the whole vast syllabus within a few months.

Also, preparation from early gives you enough time to rejuvenate over the concepts and practice more questions. This will provide you an extra edge over your competitors. You can focus on your weak subject and sections because you already have enough time.

Success is waiting in NEET 2021 with IIB’s NEET Repeater Course

The events of 2020 had a massive impact on several people. This time has been especially hard for students aspiring to crack the NEET entrance exam. This attempt may have been an exceedingly challenging first attempt and probably did not represent the talent and ability of most of the students. The unprecedented situation of the pandemic has brought many students to take the step of trying for NEET again in the coming year.

Problems Faced in the Drop year:

Although taking a year off to pursue the dream of cracking NEET is an enticing offer, it does come with its fair share of problems. One of the most significant issues being that motivating oneself to study and complete portions. The determination to learn with the same intensity for another year can be a big ask.

In addition to this, avoiding distractions can be another hindrance for many students. All these problems are topped off with the pressure that can come from relatives and sometimes parents which burden students significantly, preventing them from giving their best.

Students also make the grave mistake of neglecting some subjects, namely Biology and turn most of their attention to Physics. This prevents an aspirant from securing easy marks in a highly competitive situation.

The Answer is IIB:

The Ideal Institute of Biology: Best Medical Coaching in India can be a source of comfort to many students who are facing these problems. It is essential to attain structure during a gap year, and that is what IIB offers. IIB approaches each student with a tactical strategy that can vastly improve the performance of each student.

Through weekly tests or regular chapter-wise tests, each student can recognise their vulnerabilities in the portion for Biology. After this, a student can approach any of the individual staff and strengthen their knowledge. The results of these tests are also released through a merit list containing the marks of all the students that took the test. This fosters a competitive spirit in each aspirant which is vital to customise the student to the competitiveness of NEET.

Parents can also participate in their ward’s NEET journey as a test result, and class performances are intimated through text messages.

The interactive classes carried out by the experienced staff also enrich the students’ appetite to learn. In addition to this, the annual test series which usually begins five months before the NEET exam is also undertaken by IIB. This test series can be used as a guide to testing one’s preparation. It contains questions that cover all the topics of each subject.

On attending each test, an aspirant can plan their preparation for the last few months, which is usually the time that can make or break a NEET journey.

Therefore, IIB offers an unbeatable deal that is also affordable. IIB can, thus, be a reliable option for any NEET aspirant looking to make their dreams come true.

How to create a perfect Study Environment at Home for NEET 2021?

COVID-19 has disrupted the lives of everyone including students. Many students are at their homes to prepare for NEET 2021 due to the pandemic.

The present scenario of events has mentally distracted you from the path of achieving your desires.

There are thousands of students facing similar issues with concentration and their dreams evaporate from their eyes.

Not to worry, here are 5 tips that will help you keep up with your schedule while being at your home.

A well-organized study location

An organized mind shares an organized space. A quote to live by when preparing for NEET or for that sake any examination.

The utter dedication and concentration you need for NEET should be unmatchable. Therefore allot yourself a small space with all your needs at an arm’s distance.

Keep a water bottle and a small tub of snacks most preferably fruits and nuts to keep hunger at a bay.

Shift your focus more on NCERT

Again. This is a time of immortal advice and I could speak for hours on the importance of NCERT in NEET.

It is recorded that 90% of questions asked in NEET for biology is from NCERT. And the same is the case with physical and inorganic chemistry.

For physics, the majority of questions asked are based on NCERT examples, exemplar, and exercise questions. Also, the points to ponder and the blue boxes of knowledge in between chapters are of equal importance.

With shifting fashion in exam question orientation, theoretical questions are asked in physics mostly from NCERT.

Therefore, to score a perfect mark in physics, chemistry or biology; stick to NCERT and clear all your basics before shifting to other references.

Take mock tests frequently

Mock tests serve for the value by providing you major insights of your preparation period. You get to figure out your weaker sections and thrive to improve the same.

Securing low marks should never bar you from attempting tests. Because the main objective for conducting tests is to keep up with your preparation while making you realize the weak sections you need to polish more.

Dedicate a slot for revision

The vast syllabus offered in NEET makes it difficult for students to remember everything precisely. A survey conducted shows that students who revise frequently record the least case of anxiety and nervousness before the commencement of the examination.

Divide a slot of at least 3 hours dedicated for each subject.

Make a realistic and achievable schedule

NEET 2021 is approaching at a bullet speed and with that point in hands, we know you are driven to make promises but aren’t able to perform the same.

To keep demotivation away, design your study schedule in a proper way that does not exploit your energy and concentration.

For that instance join an online but best medical coaching in India, IIBwhich adjoins you to the experts in the field to ease your task and space out time for more revision.

Common Mistakes to avoid while preparing for your NEET Examination

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination is conducted every year by NTA for admission into prestigious medical colleges.

While thousands of applicants fly with vibrant colours, many students after continuous efforts won’t make the same effort.

Here are some common mistakes students commit while preparing for NEET.

Skipping NCERT

We know, studying in a medical college, dwelling between heavy books of anatomy, physiology, and general medicine is something you have dreamed of all your life.

But, when preparing for the life of a doctor ahead, the examination department has some leniency to offer.

Therefore, before shifting your eyes to the heavy books side-line them right away and grab your NCERT this very event.

We know, at this instant you might feel this advice to be impractical, but if you follow the previous patterns and study topper interviews, they all suggest NCERT be the king of your study schedule.

Favouriting a subject and neglecting others

Okay. Repeat after me.

           Biology isn’t the only subject!

           Chemistry isn’t the only subject!

           Physics isn’t the only subject!

We at Ideal Institute of Biology understand completely your virtues to study Biology.

But, guys don’t you think this very approach has swiped you a few ranks down this attempt?

Examinations like NEET teaches you the importance of discipline and not just enacting over your dopamine-filled adventure of reading and practicing only one subject.

Miscalculating basics

We know, when your dreams are so high you don’t want to look down at the basics.

But, friends, how can you muscle up your preparation when you can’t differentiate an atom from its nucleus?

Or, hope through the winds of river current velocity and acceleration?

Or, lighten the kingdom of carbon and its derivatives?

Even if the syllabus you see is of a negligible value when compared to your ambitions, the best coaching institute for medical never skims the basics.

Basics of all three subjects play a vital role in your preparation times just like amino acids in protein production.

Missing on tests

Underprepared this time?

Don’t feel like giving your tests, because you might score low?

Oh! Yes also this is a minor test, so stands for no valve.

No.

Say no to all your belittling thoughts which ultimately pulls down the importance of tests.

Missing on tests is the biggest crime you can commit while preparing for NEET.

The main idea behind conducting frequent tests is to acquaint your mind with the pressure and situation involved while giving the original examination.

Believing in rot learning and miscarrying application knowledge

We understand the importance of memory perception but, NTA and NEET don’t.

Reading a paragraph over and over again or writing the same formula for time is infinite will do everything except guaranteeing you a position in medical college.

NEET syllabus is a subtle combination of practical knowledge with a few parts of memory application. And this is where strategy comes to play.

IIB is a group of experts in field of Biology who themselves have appeared for NEET/IIT previously known as PMT.

Practical and applicational knowledge of the subject is the key defining factor of a topper and a mediocre scorer.

Important Tips to secure a good rank in the NEET Exam

Self-evident within itself, this question is the central goal of any NEET aspirant. While the algorithm to decode could be technical the points to grab your desirable rank aren’t.

Achieving a reputed score in NEET isn’t a hard shell to crack but, if you remember a few points the way through it could get easier.

Hitting realistic goals

The path to secure a desirable rank in NEET is a rollercoaster of emotions. A low score in a test, a question out of your reach, or an important but difficult chapter.

This overwhelming feeling could drag you down from your track. Therefore settling bonds within yourself is very important.

Don’t exploit yourself by setting goals that are realistic. Understand yourself and your ability.

Assign yourself with frequent breaks. Try the Pomodoro technique to hit your daily target without tearing yourself down.

Reviewing mock tests

The importance of mock tests can’t be defined in paragraphs especially while preparing for NEET. Mock tests help you recognize your weaker sections and push you to work harder.

After every test you give, attempt the same again and figure out mistakes committed in the first attempt and then the second one.

This is helpful to understand if you are committing mistakes in the pressure of the exam scenario.

Also, create a copy with all the mistakes you committed in every test and have a look at the same, frequently.

This should help you to clear out concepts and catch a glimpse of mistakes you do and maybe find a pattern you must review on.

Clear doubts daily

Doubts are necessary and doubts are good. Every time you come through a doubt ringing your mind, big or small clear it instantly.

For instance, note your doubts every time you encounter them and dedicate a weekly time slot especially dedicated to all the doubts you have come across to date.

Doubt clarification polishes your conceptual knowledge to the core which helps you solve questions of any frequency.

Get yourself clear of your concepts and doubts with mentors from the best medical coaching in India

Mentors at IIB thrive to deliver the best quality content with a special slot allotted for doubt clarification. NEET Classes in Nanded have aimed to clear doubts and work more on concept clearing.

Consistency

Consistency is your best friend while driving through the chapters of plant physiology or mechanics and the extremeness of P-block elements.

These hardships are what makes you dream of cracking NEET more splendid.

Stay consistent with your goals and try to achieve daily targets. Stipulate the syllabus and act accordingly.

Pledge to complete your daily targets and review your doubts on a regular basis.

Never skip a mock test and to imply more enrolment in the best medical coaching specifically online.
