National Test Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main result on April 25 along with the JEE Advanced cut-off for the 2024 examination. The candidates qualifying for the exam can apply for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam from April 27, 2024. The JEE Advanced exam is scheduled on May 26, 2024.

Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024 with JEE Mains Session 2 Result

Candidates will be able to find the JEE Main 2024 cutoff for JEE Advanced on their JEE Main 2024 scorecard from session 2. At the bottom of the scorecard, aspirants can see the “Category-wise cutoff NTA score for JEE Advanced 2024 based on paper 1 (BE/BTech)”.

The cut-off will describe the JEE Advanced eligibility and the candidates qualifying can fill out the JEE Advanced application form from April 27 to May 7, 2024, by visiting the NTA official website. JEE Exam Pattern for Paper 2 (A)

Paper 2 (A) will be for admission to the B.Arch Program. It involves the mathematical, Aptitude, and drawing tests. The marking scheme is just like paper 1 i.e. +4 for the correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer. However, there is no negative marking for the drawing test.

JEE Advanced 2024

The students who secure a rank in the top 2,50,000 and have passed the JEE mains exam are eligible for the JEE advanced exam. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be conducted by IIT Madras. The details of the JEE Advanced exam are as follows:

The JEE Advanced exam details will be given after the JEE Mains result. The exam will consist of two papers paper 1 and paper 2. For which the duration is three hours and both papers are compulsory. To be eligible for the JEE mains exam candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

• The age restriction for candidates to take the JEE Main 2024 exams has not been specified by the authorities. Candidates who passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2022 and 2023 or are appearing in 2024, regardless of age, are eligible to take the JEE (Main) – 2024 examination. 

• Candidates must pass the 10+2 examinations from any accredited Central/State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations in New Delhi, and so on.
