JEE 2024: Types of questions
There will be a total of 90 questions in all. Each subject will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 20 multiple-choice questions whereas Section B have 10 numerical questions. Students are required to attempt only 5 questions out of these 10 for each subject. Therefore the students are required to attempt only 75 questions from the total 90 questions.

JEE Exam Pattern for Paper 2 (A)
Paper 2 (A) will be for admission to the B.Arch Program. It involves the mathematical, Aptitude, and drawing tests. Mathematics and aptitude are online computer-based tests (CBT) having multiple-choice and numerical questions whereas drawing is a pen-and-paper mode test. The marking scheme is just like paper 1 i.e. +4 for the correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer. However, there is no negative marking for the drawing test.

The paper 2(b) is for admission to the B.Plannign program. The subjects included in the exam are Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning. JEE Advanced 2024
The students who secure a rank in the top 2,50,000 and have passed the JEE mains exam are eligible for the JEE advanced exam. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be conducted by IIT Madras. The details of the JEE Advanced exam are as follows:
