With the IIB approaching its silver anniversary, it is time to reflect on its origins and learn about the transformation the institute has seen in recent years. Launched by Prof. Ganesh Chowgle in the year 1999 to provide suitable guidance to students seeking admission to medicine in rural Marathwada. The NEET and JEE coaching centre has expanded its operations to Pune, Kolhapur, Nanded, and Marathwda.
The institute has produced around 20,000 successful NEET results with some of the students (now doctors) serving the country with their service. Prof. Ganesh Chowgle voluntarily retired from the institute in 2018 and now Mr Dashrath Patil is leading Team IIB. The team is performing well under his guidance too as in the year 2023 more than 60 seats in AIIMS are captured by IIBians.
