The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell recently released the MHT CET Exam Pattern for 2025. According to the MHT CET Paper Pattern, the exam will be administered online as a computer-based test. NEET 2025 Registration: The National Test Agency (NTA) has started the NEET registration process for the 2025 entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. The registration will commence on 7th February 2025 and will last till Mach 7, 2025, on the NTA’s official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates should fill out the online registration form before the last date to avoid any kind of inconvenience.

This year, the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID was employed to register and take the exam. Candidates are also asked to match their Aadhaar information with their Class 10 mark sheets and pass certificates to guarantee transparency and efficiency. NTA emphasizes this by stating, “Candidates are advised to update their credentials in Aadhar, preferably as per their 10th mark sheet/passing certificate.” Make sure your Aadhar is linked to a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication.”  However, the NTA has emphasized that the APAAR ID is not needed.

NEET 2025 Exam Pattern Changed (All Questions are Compulsory)

The NEET UG exam has witnessed major changes in the last four years, from changes in syllabus to exam pattern and duration. This year, there will be no optional questions in section B of the NEET exam paper. Students are required to attempt all the questions ( 45 questions in each Physics & Chemistry and 90 questions in Biology).

Major Changes in the NEET 2025 Exam Pattern

The three major changes in the NEET 2025 exam pattern are as follows:

1. Reduction in duration of exam: Till 2024, the NEET exam duration was 3 hours 20 minutes, whereas from 2025, the NEET exam duration will be 3 hours. The time is reduced due to the reduction in the number of questions.

2. Removal of Section B: Section B in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) is removed. There will be only one section for each subject having 45 multiple-choice questions based on the syllabus for classes 11th and 12th.

3. No Optional Questions: Previously, the NEET exam provided the choice in section B for each subject, where students were required to attempt 10 out of the 15 questions. This choice is eliminated from the current NEET exam and students are required to attempt all 180 questions in the exam paper.
