The National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET is the entrance exam to get admission into Indian medical and dental institutes’ MBBS and BDS programs. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in charge of conducting it.

Eligibility
The NEET eligibility criteria 2022 are a collection of requirements that the candidates must meet before being considered for the test. The eligibility requirements include the rules and standards for the qualifying test, such as the pass percentage necessary for the NEET exam, nationality, the age restriction for applying, the maximum number of attempts, and more. The eligibility criteria include:
- Indian nationals, non-resident Indians (NRIs), persons of Indian origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and worldwide nations are all eligible to participate in NEET.

- Candidates must be at least 17 years of age.

Paper Pattern
The NEET test design has been altered, with the total number of questions increasing from 180 to 200. In addition, each topic, such as physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany, is separated into two portions, A and B, each with 35 and 15 questions.
- Candidates will have the internal choice in Section B of the new NEET test pattern, which means they can attempt any 10 of the 15 questions.

- Malayalam and Punjabi have been added as additional language possibilities, bringing the total number of language options to 13.
