JEE Main 2025: The JEE Main 2025 correction window for session 1 will open on 26 Nov 2024 and will be available till 27 Nov 2024 at 11:50 PM. The candidates can edit the information they entered before 27 Nov 2024. However, the details such as mobile number, email address, contact information and photographs are non-editable.

JEE Main 2025 session 1 application forms were available from 28 October 2024 to 22 November 2024. Interested candidates can fill out the application form before the final date.

What Details Can Be Edited in JEE Application Form 2025 Through Correction Window?

The correction window provides another chance for the JEE aspirants to correct the incorrect details in their application form before scrutinizing. The following details can be edited in the JEE Main Session 1 application from the correction window opening on 26th November 2024.

For Adhaar Verified Candidates

1. Parent’s Details: Candidates can edit their father or mother’s name but only one out of two is allowed.
2. Category: Candidates can change their category by re-loading their category certificate. For PwD candidates, reloading the sub-category certificate is also allowed.
3. City & Medium: The choice of the exam centre city and language can be changed.
4. Qualification Details: Candidates can edit their class 10th & class 12th details.
5. Course Applied For: The candidate can update or add the course for which he will take the exam.

For Non-Adhaar Verified Candidates

1. Editing in Name: The candidate can edit his name, father’s name or mother’s name. Only one detail can be edited.
2. Category: Candidates can change their category by re-loading the category certificate.
3. Sub-category: The candidate can also edit the sub-category (PwD) by reloading the required certificate.
4. Date of birth & Gender: Changes in these details are also allowed.
5. Exam Centre and Exam Language: Edit in the preferred centre and language is also allowed.
6. Qualification Details: The candidate can also edit class 10th & class 12th details.
7. Course: Candidates can add or update the course details.

How to Access the Application Correction Window for JEE Main 2025 Application Form?

The step-by-step instructions for editing the JEE Main 2025 application form through the JEE correction window are given below:

Step 1: Open the JEE Main official website and log in to your account using the registration number and password.

Step 2: Click on the link highlighted “ JEE Main 2025 Application Correction Window”.

Step 3: Read all the instructions mentioned and follow them.

Step 4: Edit the information you want to change and save the application form.

Step 5: Once you complete the correction, pay the application fee and proceed.

Step 6: Print the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Note: Only one-time correction is allowed. Therefore, once the correction is done and submitted the form shall be frozen.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction Fees

Some changes in the JEE Main 2025 application form require payment of additional fees. These changes are:

1. Change in category: Change of category from reserved (SC/ST/OBC) to General requires the payment of an additional fee.
2. Change in Course: Adding any other course other than the one you opted for previously requires payment of applicable fees.
3. Change in exam centre: Switching to the international centre will result in an additional fee payment.

Some of the details in the JEE application are fixed and cannot be changed once entered. It is therefore requested to fill these details cautiously and recheck them before final submission as all the notifications and correspondence will be done using these details. JEE Main 2025 Admit Card
