NEET 2021 is assumed to be conducted in the month of May. But, there isn’t any official notification regarding the same.

But, a change or reduction in the syllabus is expected as CBSE has already notified for class 12th board examinations.

As per the current scenario:

  1. No expected change in schedule.
  2. Change in the syllabus is also not notified.
  3. NEET will be conducted as the common entrance examination. No entrance exam will be held for AIIMS and JIPMER as it was used to be.

ELIGIBILITY:

Age: Shouldn’t be less than 17 years of age till 31st December 2021

Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 60%.

Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

Marks: Applicant must have passed with 50% marks for general, 45% for PH, and 40% for SC/ST in their qualifying examination

Exam Pattern:

Before jumping to the syllabus. Let’s understand the pattern of examination for more clarity throughout the preparation period.

Exam Mode: Pen and Paper

Duration: 3 hours

Marking scheme: Every correct answer reward 4 marks and each incorrect option deducted 1 mark from the total score.

Zero marks for each unattempted question.

The medium of paper:

As already stated, no official statement has been issued by NTA. Hence the dates provided are tentative.
